Wood Qualities

 Wood has qualities that make it unique. Wood moves. It swells in high humidity and shrinks in low humidity. Since it doesn't move uniformly, this means that a work may be perfectly round when finished, but over time it may become slightly oval due to the varying humidity. This is to be expected and only adds to the character of the piece.
